Preschool - Curriculum

Grace Lutheran Preschool children put into practice a variety of hands-on activities that teachers implement in their classroom with an integrated curriculum developed for each age level.  The Toddler, Developmental and Pre-K curricula aligned to the California Preschool Learning Foundations allow our children to have an optimal learning experience using exploration, play, creativity, and teacher guidance.  Our curricula are supplemented by Faith Development skills and a Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) system that ensures an effective learning environment for all the children.  There are twelve basic areas of brain processing activities displayed in a total over-all review of the opportunities offered in the classroom.  The lesson plans are designed to provide coherent areas of learning over a monthly and yearly plan with the specific intent to build on knowledge from the previous months and to create foundations for later learning in kindergarten and beyond.  Coherent progression of skills and knowledge are offered in the following areas:
